Drawings by Eva Galler’s brother Pinkus

Our survivor Eva Galler came from a large family in Oleszyce, Poland. Her brother Pinkus was artistic and decorated letters written by his father to Palestine in 1938, as shown here. On January 8, 1943, Pinkus jumped from a “death train” and was shot and killed. His drawings on the letters to Palestine, indicating his talent, survived the war and were given to Eva by her relative.
